Indulge Responsibly, Save Deliciously!
Imagine this: it’s a weeknight, you’ve just gotten off work and the last thing you want to do is cook and clean up for an hour or even longer. I’ll admit I don’t have to imagine it…
Uber Eats allows users to conveniently order food at their fingertips to arrive to their front door. A big issue in the food and delivery service industries is food waste. Unserved and surplus food is only becoming more and more of an issue for restaurants, while they still want to maximize profits as much as possible and avoid losses. And people are starting to take notice of how much food waste we produce while they continue ordering delivery for its convenience.
I thought that I could do something about this, so I created Eco Eats by Uber.
Product Vision
Our vision is to create a solution that addresses the high cost of food, minimizes food waste due to incorrect orders or surplus in perishable foods, and provides a convenient, budget-friendly, and inclusive delivery service, satisfying the needs of both restaurants and customers.
